Because this is Bollywood, where crap like Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna get nominated for awards. Shahid has not had enough movies to prove himself, and neither did he is that recognized among his fans. Shah Rukh Khan really got to where he is because, a vast majority of his audiences like romantic movies, where he gets to cry, and go sensitive. Now, I do agree that he has done some really unique roles (Don, Chak De India), but he really has to pick better thought provoking movies, with less glam.

i dont understand, what r people complaining about..who says if you are more than 40 u can’t do films with actress half ur age, this is ridiculous..people, one should praise to such actors who can be so efficient with their looks and acting even at that age and new comers should be embarassed as being so young and good looking can’t be effective at the same time..

I agree. Sharukh’s kids should be embarrassed instead of cheering him. What’s with bollywood, where real talent is still waiting to be discovered instead of a glamorous Shah Rukh Khan. Let Shahid Kapoor take over as the new Shah Rukh Khan, and let Shah Rukh Khan do more serious, and deep movies.
